Owner/Lead Trainer

Josh has 3 different National Certifications; NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association), NCSF (National Council of Strength & Fitness), NCEP (National College of Exercise Professionals). After having gone through an 80lb. weight loss himself, Josh decided to dedicate himself to helping others achieve their own fitness goals.

Terrion

Lead Trainer

Husband, father and athlete in multiple sports for his whole life including football, baseball, basketball, soccer, and track & field. AFI (American Fitness Institute) certified trainer, and professional mixed martial arts fighter. Terrion is a weight loss success story having lost 45 lbs after being sidelined for a year due to knee injury. After falling in love with fitness and mixed martial arts Terrion became passionate about helping others reach their fitness goals and living a healthy life style.

Ashley

Trainer

Ashley is a proud wife and former dancer that is passionate about helping her clients live their happiest and healthiest life through nutrition and exercise. She studied Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop and Ballet since the age of 3 before entering the fitness industry. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with an emphasis on Integrative Health from Southern California University of Health Sciences where she was introduced to all types of healing and how important healthy nutrition choices are; and is currently studying to get her Master’s in Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health. Ashley’s love for nutrition led her to complete her ISSA certification in personal training and an Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching certification from IIN. She believes that in addition to exercise, daily positive changes in diet can make monumental changes in your life.

Keenan

Trainer

Keenan's passion for health and fitness first lead him to graduate from CSU Dominguez Hills with a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology before striving further to complete his NASM certification in personal training. Keenan's goal is to help others lead a healthy and happy lifestyle, he is able to incorporate his personal experience and background in bodybuilding to help anyone reach their health and fitness goals. When he isn't training or working out he enjoys playing basketball and learning even more about health and wellness.

Jocquise Island

Trainer

Jocquise Island a proud father and graduate of Lane College with a B.S. in Physical Education and Personal Training Certification from the American Fitness Institute. Upon graduation he was offered a coaching job at Lane and coached Football (Defensive Backs, Co-Defensive Coordinator) for 4 years, in addition to being the head baseball coach for 2 years. He followed that passion for physical activity by then stepping into a role as Physical Education Coordinator at Aspire Richmond Technology Academy grades K-8 before moving back to Southern California. Jocquise has since coached crossfit, hosted boot camps as well as helped athletes get back into playing shape, and is extremely passionate in seeing adults and children do better in life!

General Manager

Stephanie may not be a trainer, but she is one of the most valuable members of the SBT Team. Stephanie is the office manager and book keeper of our gym. If you inquire, call or come in for a consultation, you will be greeted with a friendly smile and any information you need.
